Nutrific Fruit Bread

Add some nutrition and colour to your breakfast with a slice of this delicious Nutrific Fruit Bread. It can be enjoyed with a preserve of your choice, or it could be the perfect base to a breakfast sandwich.

 

Ingredients:

2x          Nutrific Biscuits
275ml    Milk
1x          Banana
300g      Self-raising flour
1tsp       Cinnamon
150g      Caster sugar
150g      Raisins
50g        Dried apricots
50g        Glazed cherries

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 170˚C and grease a loaf tin
  2. Crush the Nutrific Biscuit, mash the banana and whisk the eggs
  3. Add the above to a bowl and mix well 
  4. Place the mixture in the loaf tin and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or do the toothpick test - if it comes out clean then the bread is done
  5. Let the bread cool, and then serve with the preserve of your choice
