Alpen Choc-Nut Seed Bar

Mix up your snack time with this delightful Alpen-inspired Choc Nut Seed Bar, providing you with wholesome goodness and guilt-free satisfaction.

 

Ingredients:
1 cup       Desiccated coconut
1 cup       Alpen No Added Sugar Swiss Style Muesli
1 cup       Cashew nuts
1 cup       Sunflower seeds
1 cup       Choc chips
1/2 cup    Sesame seeds
1/2 cup    Pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup    Honey
3/4 cup    Cocoa
1/4 cup    Demerara sugar
125g        Butter
1x slab    White chocolate

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C and grease and line the base of a 30cm x 25cm baking tray 
  2. Combine the coconut, Alpen No Added Sugar Muesli, cashew nuts, seeds and cocoa in a bowl
  3. In a saucepan, place the honey, sugar and butter in a small saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the saucepan and mix well 
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the tray and bake for 20 minutes until the top is golden
  6. Leave to cool in the tin and then drizzle with white chocolate
  7. Cut into blocks and store in airtight container
